Building For Generations

Our journey started in 1986 as a faith-based initiative known as the Mennonite Central Committee (BC) Social Housing Society.

Since 2003, we’ve grown and evolved to becoming an independent non-profit yet our heart has always remained the same: putting people ahead of profits to provide safe, affordable homes across British Columbia.

Today, More Than A Roof is proud to continue this legacy, offering a turning point for families, seniors, and individuals in need of stability.

We don’t just manage buildings; we create inclusive, welcoming communities where over 2,400 people can find hope and healing.

Building Opportunities

As we celebrate this milestone, we remain passionate about building opportunities for people to break cycles of poverty and homelessness.

Our work is both immediate and generational, providing the building blocks for lasting transformation in the lives of those we serve.

We invite you to join us in this mission as we continue to grow together and create a more hopeful future for all British Columbians.
