Partnerships

More Than A Roof Housing recognizes the valuable partnerships with the following organizations:

BC HOUSING

BC Housing provides more than just the funding for our subsidized housing, they partner with us to provide management and oversight so that our communities are some of the best managed buildings and complexes in the province.

BC Non Profit Housing Association

As a member of BCNPHA we enjoy the benefits of a vast directory of resources, contractors and training as well as other essential services to run a healthy non-profit society.  BCNPHA also provides Starter Kits for tenants coming from very difficult circumstances that are starting over and need the basics to set up a household.

City Of Vancouver

The generous donation of land from the City Of Vancouver allows the development of affordable housing communities to continue.  All three of our downtown locations sit on donated land.  Completed this Spring, Karis Place, our latest project, is one of the Vancouver 12 Site initiative.

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation

Coast Mental Health

Coast mental health provides the invaluable resource of a competent, full time mental health worker as well as being a resource at Candela Place, our building on south Granville.  Twenty tenants receive on going support to help them manage their mental health and contribute to the community in positive and healthy ways.

Vancouver Coastal Health

Vancouver Coastal Health Authority provides direction and funding for addiction recovery support workers at our buildings in Yaletown, Kindred Place and Karis Place.  VCH also refers clients to the 18th Street Community Care Society, More Than A Roof Housing's mental health arm on the North Shore.
